As a working mom, former elementary and middle school teacher, I know how tough it can be to make yourself a priority. There's literally always something that seems more pressing. That's why I help moms in their 40’s and 50’s, who suddenly or maybe not so suddenly, realize that they have lost control of their bodies, health and lifestyle.
I help you create and then incorporate personalized action plans based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences and resources, so that you can make sustainable positive mindset and habit changes to look and feel your best!
I have had a passion for nutrition, self-help, positive psychology and exercise since I was a teenager and I first began my own weight loss journey. In 2007, after the birth of my third child, I began teaching yoga and then created my first course, Prepare for Natural Childbirth with Yoga. It was then that I realized I loved inspiring, educating and supporting women in their journey to health and happiness!
My experience with my own health challenges have made me a better coach. In my 40’s, after a decade of unexplained joint and muscle pain, I was finally diagnosed with Hypermobility Syndrome, which included with it several chronic illnesses. I was given a long list of exercise and foods that I should avoid, many of which were a regular part of my life.
I have researched, tested and learned what works and what doesn’t work for my body and I can help you figure out what works for you so you can finally love your body and your life again!
When not coaching or exercising (biking, dancing, weight lifting), I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and being creative — especially healthy cooking, gardening and photography.
