About  Me


I help busy moms in their 40's and 50's learn how to love their bodies, while they lose weight and improve their physical and mental health, so they can enjoy their lives and family more! Previously, I was a teacher — teaching elementary and middle school.

I know the struggle is real. My own weight loss journey started at 15 when I began to struggle with my weight. By the end of high school I had gained 30 pounds, and was the heaviest I have been in my life. I was unhappy with how I looked and I was getting sick all the time.

In my 20's, I tried every diet and exercise plan out there — and there were and still are a lot out there. I finally got in amazing shape at 28 years old! I was in better shape at 28 than I had been at 18!

Then in my thirties, after having 3 children in 5 years, I had new challenges to face when preparing healthy meals and fitting in exercise. 

In 2007, I began teaching yoga and then created my first course, Prepare for Natural Childbirth with Yoga. Once again I felt like I had found my balance with my own health and I realized I loved working with women in the health and wellness field.

Then I hit 40, and after a decade of unexplained joint and muscle pain, I was finally diagnosed with Hyper-mobility Syndrome which included with it several chronic illnesses. I was given a long list of exercise and foods that I should avoid, many of which were a regular part of my life.

In 2020 I will turn 50! My nutrition has become even more important because I can't push myself the way I used to with exercise. Because if I do and I still do, I get injured. I like you am still learning to listen to the wisdom of my body.

I love coaching! I am addicted to learning, and teaching women how to maintain a positive mindset, eat healthy and exercise to get stronger and without injury!

When not coaching or exercising (biking, dancing, weight lifting), I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and being creative — especially healthy cooking, gardening and photography.

My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, life coaching and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with clients like you to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness. I create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your goals. 

Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationship as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.

You will create personalized action plans based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences and resources, so that you can make sustainable positive mindset and habit changes to look and feel your best!

I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. We don't dwell on calories. As these healthy habits accumulate, my clients find the changes collectively create a much larger impact than they originally expected. We work on what you want to improve, and within the circumstances of your unique situation.
